A digital ecosystem rebuilt around neuro-analysis and a frictionless checkout

The challenge
ZOAH Natural Skin Care is a skin care brand with a well-established track record in the traditional pharmacy channel. Despite that recognition offline, the brand struggled to carry the same trust into its digital channel. Many loyal customers bought the products in large retail chains without knowing an official store existed, while new visitors could not clearly identify what the brand specialized in or find enough information to buy with confidence. The purchase process broke down under complex registration steps and technical failures that raised the perceived risk right before payment. On top of that came a digital trust gap: information on ingredients, benefits and skin types was not clear enough, and there were errors in the perceived logistics, such as unrealistic shipping costs shown at checkout. ZOAH needed to dismantle the invisible barriers blocking conversion and limiting the scalability of its direct-to-consumer model.
The solution
We designed a re-engineering strategy focused on understanding user behavior, pinpointing where shoppers dropped off and optimizing every stage of the purchase process. The approach combined user experience analysis, neurocognitive principles and functional improvements inside the e-commerce store, with the goal of lowering cognitive load, building trust and making conversion easier. The work was organized into three fronts: a diagnostic phase using neuro-analysis, optimization of the conversion flow, and a new information architecture built around trust and transparency.
