The challenge

TiendAPP connects large manufacturers, traditional retailers and end consumers within a single commercial model. Coordinating manufacturers, stores, field sales reps, transport teams, merchandisers and consumers at once meant keeping very different processes in sync without fragmenting the ecosystem. The challenge was never a single feature. Sales reps needed customers, products, orders, routes and performance indicators even where connectivity was unreliable; data generated in the field had to stay current across the apps and the systems running the business; and the growing volume of orders, products, promotions, customers and commercial terms called for one experience that could organize all of it. There was also a standing requirement: every release surfaced new needs, so the platform had to absorb improvements without interrupting the operation already running on it.

The solution

We strengthened TiendAPP as an integrated ecosystem of specialized solutions, giving each participant tools built for their role while keeping them connected to the rest of the operation. We worked under a continuous improvement model, starting from the results of the first releases and the needs that surfaced as users folded the platform into their daily routine. That evolution linked the stages of the commercial chain through apps for customers, sales reps, transport teams and merchandisers, while reinforcing the e-commerce channel and the analytics layer in parallel. The result is a structure where mobility, commerce, logistics and business intelligence operate as components of one ecosystem.

What we built

  • Four specialized applications for customers, sales reps, transport teams and merchandisers.
  • Order management in the sales rep app: creation, editing and lookup, with products organized by brand and presentation, plus availability, order summary, comments and confirmation.
  • Operation under limited connectivity: initial data download, full and incremental synchronization of changed records, and deferred upload of orders captured offline.
  • Customer lookup with location, order history and store-level indicators, plus route visualization and maps for planning visits.
  • Offer management with microsegmentation driven by per-customer portfolio, product quotas, product ordering and commercial segments.
  • General and customer-specific surveys to capture market information during sales visits.
  • Expansion of the B2B2C e-commerce channel and development of a Product Master.
  • Online BI dashboards and CRM tools.
